5K Walk

Hope for CJD 5K Walk: 8:30 a.m. to noon June 11, Pine Banks Park, 1087 Main St., Malden. The first-ever Hope for CJD 5K Walk will raise funds for the Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease Foundation in memory of Amale Daher. The schedule for the day’s events is as follows: 8:30-9:15 a.m. registration, coffee/donuts and T-shirt pick-up; 9:15-10:15 a.m. walk; 10:15 a.m. to noon raffles, food, meet-and-greet with Rapunzel. In addition to the walk, businesses will donate goods and services for a raffle. Anyone who donates or raises more than $25 will get a T-shirt on walk day.
