Genki Women
Be loud! Be proud! Be Genki! This Asian women’s troupe uses Japanese taiko drumming, spoken word, comedy, and personal stories to inspire creativity, build community, and advocate respect for all. Especially empowering for girls and young women, but all are welcome! This dynamic, interactive program is FREE.
This program is funded by the Malden Cultural Council, a local agency, which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.
