Malden’s The Gallery will host an exhibit featuring works by S.M. Stigliano and C.A. Stigliano from through April 28. Artist and art educator S.M. Stigliano finds joy in the uniqueness and versatility of oil paint. S.M. teaches oil painting at Pine Manor College. She also finds printmaking and sketching to be influential mediums. In describing his style, C.A. Stigliano said, “I make a lot of stuff for a lot of different reasons, and I gave up a long time ago trying to figure out if what I was making was ‘Art.’ Whether it is a wood carving that started out as a bear and ended as a woman with a cat on her head, or something of the like.”
