Malden Adult Education
Spring classes have now begun.
Classes offered this semester are:
English classes Levels 1-4;
Level 5, which is a reading, writing, conversation, advanced grammar and intro to Toefl;
A basic computer class that focuses on Microsoft Word, the Internet, emailing and Powerpoint.
Classes run every Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00-8:00PM until June 12th.
Registration will remain open until March 27th, only on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6-8pm.
The cost of the class is $100.00 if you mention this ad!

Community Dining Series

Bossa Nova Next Stop for Community Dining Series
The Malden Eats/ Malden Reads Community Dining Series continues on Tuesday, April 22 at 7pm, at Bossa Nova, the Brazilian restaurant located at 290 Main Street. Join fellow Maldonians for a fun and relaxing meal. We encourage diners to include conversation related to this year's Malden Reads selection, "The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks" by Rebecca Skloot. You do not need to have read the book to attend the dinner.
Bossa Nova has been a Malden favorite since it opened in 2011. Spices from West Africa and steaks from Portugal unite at the Bossa Nova Steakhouse which celebrates Brazilian cuisine with colorful buffets and 15 kinds of meat. Diners can signal roving waiters, bearing swords of sirloin, sausage, or chicken to slice of choice cuts right onto their plates.
Space is limited, so reservations with the restaurant are highly recommended. Call 781-605-3343 by Friday, April 18 to make your reservation. Be sure to specify that you are with the Malden Reads dinner. Those unable to honor their reservations are asked to cancel so the next person on the list can attend. The meal will cost $20 not including tax, tip, and beverage.
