All the community is cordially invited to the ribbon-cutting of the first mural to honor Malden-born children’s illustrator Ed Emberley. Subsequent murals on the ARTLine will honor more Malden artists, musicians and writers: Frank Stella and his mother Constance Stella, Keith Knight, and Norman Greenbaum.
On Wednesday, May 23rd, at 6PM meet at David A Fitzgerald Park for the ribbon-cutting. Then cross the street to Exchange Street Bistro, 67 Exchange Street, Malden, MA for the celebration. See the plans for the phase one hub of murals and a pocket park at Ferry Street and Centre Street. Meet the Emberley family. Bid on original art by local artists, and on autographed books by Ed Emberley. Enjoy complimentary refreshments and cash bar.
