“Atomic Blond”: 6-8 p.m. Jan. 24, Malden Public Library, 36 Salem St. For information: 781-324-0218. The Library will host a screening of a recent movie based on the graphic novel, “Atomic Blonde.” The film is rated R and stars Charlize Theron, John Goodman, Sofia Boutella and James MaAvoy. This film is free and open to the public. The facility is handicapped-accessible.

MATV Orientation:

6:30-8 p.m. Jan. 24, MATV, 145 Pleasant St., Malden. For information, visit http://matv.org. All are invited to attend the next free MATV Orientation. Attendees will take a tour of the station and learn about its history, programs and services. An orientation is required for all members wishing to take training classes at MATV and is also open to the general community. Upcoming classes include training in portable video camera production, video editing, TV studio production, podcasting, journalism and more. Parking validation is provided for any of the nearby lots.
