Classic Movie Night

Join us for Movie Night on Wednesday, October 24, 2018, from 6:00-8:00pm. We will be showing a classic Alfred Hitchcock movie from 1960 about Norman Bates who is accused of being a “Psycho.” The film stars Anthony Perkins and Janet Leigh.
Marion Crane (Leigh) is “an unsuspecting victim [who] visits the Bates Motel and falls prey to one of cinema's most notorious psychopaths - Norman Bates (Perkins).”
The movie is listed on the National Film Registry and The Telegraph writes, “Alfred Hitchcock’s 1960 horror thriller Psycho is one of the most celebrated films in history.” It is listed as #1 on the American Film Institute’s list of 100 Most Thrilling American Films. The movie has a 97% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Intro to Podcasting

Wednesdays, October 3, 10 & 24, 7:00 - 9:00 pm First class held at The Gallery @ 480 Main St. Audio-based programming known as podcasting has exploded in recent years as a way of communicating stories. Learn how you can create podcasts in this introductory course. This course will combine lecture, audio-visual, and hands-on demonstration. Each participant will have a chance to create their own mini-podcast.
