Celebrating the Worlds of Graphic Design and Pop Art

Malden Catholic School for Girls and Malden Arts are excited to showcase two local graphic artists at a wine and cheese event held in the Marilyn's Way Gallery at Malden Catholic on September 26th at 6:30 p.m. Showing is open to the public. The gallery is newly constructed and hosts three local artists per year. The beautiful new gallery was created to support local artists by displaying their work, encourage community building as well as inspire our students with with art.

MATV annual meeting and celebration

Be the first to find out about MATV’s new name! Come to MATV’s Annual Celebration on Thursday, September 26, from 6:00 – 9:00pm at Anthony’s of Malden. Enjoy live music and a full dinner buffet, socialize with your friends, meet some new folks, participate in a multi-media presentation, and help honor our MATV volunteers as they receive recognition awards. At the end of the evening, there will be an election for a new MATV Board member.
All Malden community members are invited to come celebrate another year of community media in Malden and help us embark on a journey of reinvention and rebranding. Our theme for this year’s annual event is “Beyond Television.” We will be sharing the process of understanding our history, our role in the community, and the changes we are making to better align with today’s digital landscape, the social fabric of Malden, and potential changes in our funding.

The Malden Writers' Collaborative Info Session

Are you a local writer? Are you interested in joining a collaborative community of committed writers? Are you looking for people to workshop your writing and are you committed to doing the same for others?
Are you open-minded, respectful, and encouraging to fellow writers and to the writing process?
The Malden Writers' Collaborative meets the first and third Thursday of each month from 7-8:30PM at the Malden Public Library.
New members must attend this informational session to join for the 2019-2020 season. The group will then be closed until Fall 2020.
