Hi to all my Malden Reads friends,
I want to personally invite you all to come to Stock Pot Malden’s first culinary event this Thursday, November 6, at Triangle. I’ll be cooking all the appetizers, sides and desserts. It’s a Grilled Cheese Throw-down between Roxy’s Grilled Cheese (of the Food Network’s Great Food Truck Race fame) and our own hometown truck Munch Mobile, co-sponsored by Aeronaut Brewing Company. This event is not a Malden Reads activity but we wanted to give our friend David Stein of Brother Trucker Catering this chance to promote the activities of Stockpot Malden ("powering a diverse culinary community"). David has been involved in Malden Reads since our first year in 2011. In collaboration with Malden Eats, he is the organizer of the Community Dinner Series, chief caterer of the Opening Celebration, and chef for our closing Gala dinners. Brother Trucker Catering will be providing the desserts for our upcoming free event Dessert Theater on November 10 (don't forget to RSVP!)
