Boston Wounded Vet Run

On Saturday, May 9, 2015, the 5th Annual Boston Wounded Vet Run motorcade will be riding through Malden. This is a fundraising effort to support New England's most severely wounded Veterans. The Motorcycle Run is from 12-2 PM beginning in Revere on Squire Road at the Boston Harley Davidson location and ending at Suffolk Downs in Revere. The police escorted motorcade will travel from Squire Road through Linden Square down Beach Street to Salem Street hoping to pause for a large gathering in Maplewood Square at approximately 12:10 PM. The motorcade will then bear right onto Lebanon Street and will head through Melrose to Woburn, and for its last leg will travel via 128 and Route 1 to Suffolk Downs.
Four wounded veterans and their families will be leading this ride and will be driven in convertibles. It is anticipated that well over 2,000 motorcycles will be riding in what has been recognized as one of the largest and most organized motorcycle fundraising rides.
