Rookie Division - Girls Age 5-7
Our Rookie level is for girls who want to learn the basics of throwing, hitting and fielding. Players receive instruction by volunteer parents in a small group setting. The program provides a fun atmosphere and allows them to experience the value of teamwork.
Minor’s Division - Girls Ages 8-11
Our Minor's level is for girls who are improving their basic skills of throwing, hitting and fielding. This level may have coach pitch, machine pitch or kid pitch depending on age/ability. Rosters are normally composed of 10-12 players. Prac-tices are held twice per week (coaches discretion) with most games occurring on week days. The season generally com-prises of approximately 12-14 games. Make-up games are also at the coaches discretion.
Major’s Division - Girls Ages 12-15
Our Major's level is more competitive and are assembled by a draft based on evaluations prior to the upcoming season to create balanced teams. Practices are held twice per week (coaches discretion) with most games occurring on week-days. The season generally comprises of approximately 14-16 games. Make-up games are also at the coaches discretion.

Mayor’s Monthly Safety Awareness Meeting

Malden Access TV (MATV) to hold a live, on the air meeting to answer questions about the latest in crime statistics and trends citywide. The live meeting will take place on Monday, March 23rd from 7:00-8:00 PM at MATV, 145 Pleasant Street. The Mayor will be joined by Police Chief Kevin Molis, Fire Chief Jack Colangeli, and Department of Public Works Director Bob Knox who will be on hand to answer questions and address concerns.

To participate, please submit questions in advance to rcochran@cityofmalden.org and note “Safety Awareness” in the subject line. Alternatively, during the show, you may call MATV at 781-388-9394, or send a message via Twitter or Facebook to the City’s Facebook or Twitter pages.
