Summer Reading Party

Young Adults going into the 6th grade through 12th grade are invited to join the Summer Reading program at the Malden Public Library, and enjoy our Kick-Off party on Monday July 2nd from 3:00-4:30 in the Maccario Room.
We will have games, pizza, snack and drinks to enjoy while you hang out and get ready for a Summer of fun at the MPL. Sign-up gift bags for the Summer Reading program will be available, though our supply is limited so sign up soon.

Bread of Life Annual Golf Tournament

Mike Cherone has just announced that the Bread of Life Annual Golf Tournament and 19th Hole Dinner will take place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 23 at the Mt. Hood Golf Course in Melrose. Get there early! Registration and a full breakfast is at 8 a.m. with a 9 a.m. tee time. Call Mike — who Chairs the Golf Committee and has an adorable rescue pup named Malcolm by the way — at 781-570-1876 to register to play, attend the 19th Hole Dinner event or to become a sponsor. The $150 fee includes golf with a cart no less, a full breakfast, a complimentary gift bag and dinner at the 19th Hole. Dinner provided by the fabulous Marty’s Catering of the Irish American Club. Absolute best of all for your family or friends, who are not golfing, can join the golfers for dinner at the 19th Hole at the Irish American for a mere $25 per person immediately after golf approximately at 3 p.m.
