Malden Arts Salon 3/4/2010 7:00 - 9:00pm
Malden Arts will host the next Salon on Thursday, March 4, 7:00–9:00 p.m., at the First Parish in Malden. The featured speakers will be residents of the Irving Street Studios, a building renovated by the city of Malden into artists’ live-work studios. Naomi Brave will also update us on the Malden Arts switchbox project. Refreshments will be served. Anyone interested in the arts in Malden is welcome to attend. See www.maldenarts.com. The First Parish in Malden is at 2 Elm Street, between Elm and Pleasant Streets (Route 60). It is 2 blocks west of the Malden T Station and there is free parking in the lot between First Parish and Beebe School, off of Elm St. Designed to be a quarterly, open-ended forum for the arts, the Salon provides opportunities for discussion, camaraderie, networking, and collaboration for those interested in furthering the arts in Malden. Come and meet other artists and art supporters, publicize your activities, share your ideas, plan events, and envision the future of the arts in Malden.
