Malden High Principal Resigned

Ted Lombardi, Principal of Malden High School resigned effective January 4, 2018 to accept a different position in another district.    Superintendent of Schools John Oteri said "I would like to take this opportunity to thank him for his leadership and service to Malden High School and our students. Ted, a native of Malden, returned to his hometown and made a positive and strong connection with our students. We wish him the best of success in his future endeavor".
    "The search for a new Principal will begin in earnest in January. We will conduct focus groups with students, staff, parents/guardians and community members to identify qualities and traits for the next Principal of our High School in order to meet the high expectations that our students and community deserve".
     In the meantime, Mr. Chris Mastrangelo will serve as the Interim Principal. Chris is the current Boyle House Principal and has been at MHS for the past nine years. "We are confident Chris will provide the best to our students and staff to ensure a safe and supportive school environment."
