The authentic flavors of Japan have made their way to Malden. Mayor Gary Christenson welcomed the new business at the official ribbon cutting of Sousaku Bistro Japanese Tapas and Bar located at 166 Eastern Avenue. Restaurant owners Aiden Pan and Chef Boky Chu, natives of Taiwan along with Lewis Lai from Hong Kong all shared a similar vision. Their restaurant promotes a casual atmosphere and features Japanese tapas, sushi and many other flavorful dishes at a reasonable cost. The new owners have made considerable investments to the infrastructure of the building in an effort to improve the overall appearance and create an inviting and welcoming space. With their unique twist on Japanese food, they pride themselves on serving only the freshest of ingredients that they “stir fry into delicious melodies of tastes and colors.”
