Malden’s Mark Linehan to star in ‘The Music Man’
Reagle Music Theatre of Greater Boston will conclude their summer season with the musical, “The Music Man” from Aug. 2-12 at the Robinson Theatre, 617 Lexington St., Waltham.
The musical will run for eight performances, including four matinees. “The Music Man” tells the tale of a charismatic con man who brings hope to a small town in Iowa by selling dreams of a boy’s band. “The Music Man” will feature a roster of regional talent featuring IRNE Award Nominee and Malden resident Mark Linehan of Reagle’s “Hairspray,” “Thoroughly Modern Millie” as “Harold Hill” and Elliot Norton Award Winner Jennifer Ellis as “Marian Paroo” of Reagle’s “Carousel,” “Wonderful Town.” Produced by Robert J. Eagle; directed and choreographed by Susan M. Chebookjian, who will restage the original Broadway and film choreography by Onna White; Music Direction by Dan Rodriguez.
Single adult tickets are $39-$66; discounts apply for seniors, students and groups of 10 or more. Student rush seats at 50 percent off are available one hour before curtain with a valid college ID.
