UMA is an interconnected hub of creativity, dialog and evolving community, centering around media, arts and culture, and proudly based in Malden, MA. Formerly known as MATV, Malden’s Media Center, we offer a variety of programs, workshops, and opportunities to create and connect.
UMA is now an umbrella organization for a variety of programs, community initiatives, the MATV Access Channels, classes, podcasting, and a community hub. Our video programs, podcasts, and art are produced by people like YOU! Regular folks who have learned to use the tools of electronic media to share their stories, interests, experiences, art and ideas. They are your neighbors, your friends, or folks in the community who you have yet to meet. Learn more about UMA at http://urbanmediaarts.org/about
